Cut me up on Tesco Hawkes green island yesterday, i was in the right lane and she cut right in front of me from the other outside lane, nearly pushed me onto the island.
Wish i had a dash cam as i would of gone to the police as its just dangerous/careless driving.
To be fair a lot of these "red route" schemes are just plain dumb, having been implemented by over-zealous power-mad councils who are more interested in profit than they are safety. They deliberately provide insufficient parking and access because they want people to be fined, and to argue amongst themselves instead of demanding their tax money goes towards fair and sustainable solutions.
In this instance, I do not see the vehicle obstructing the whole footway - there's loads of space left. It could be parked a bit better i.e. not jutting out especially it's rear, but I've seen a lot worse..
Guys I am sorry this happened to you, I think this is the same car that threatened me the other day as I had stopped just short of the yellow box junction and the road ahead was not clear but he was behind me yelling at me to get out of his way, I could not go anywhere as the area ahead was not clear and I did not wish to enter the box junction and block more traffic, he took exception to this, I gestured to him to go away and he kept out of his car. I just drove off. If it is the same reg (and forgive me I did not make a complete note of it, but it seems the same) - there is no tax and no insurance showing on it.
Description of Driver - Black/Mixed Male, quite tall, medium build, beard and a hat, was wearing a tan long overcoat (quite nice looking) - I absolutely hate people like this - they are the ones to cause injury and harm and should not be on the road, I will be contacting the Police with the above information and will share this page as it quite clearly isn't on, we are not to tolerate such behaviour - especially from an ethnicity that keep making a bad name for themselves, in these sorts of ways !
Dangerous overtake using lane for turning right and into hatchings.
In enough of a rush for a dangerous overtake but plenty of time to act as a rolling roadblock? Strange little man.
