Met this chap again travelling to close...finally it did pass it's MOT two weeks later.
Although tailgating with these advisories you need your head checking!

Sounds like you were hogging a lane (probably the middle one) so he undertook you. I'd have done the same. Learn to move to the inside lane and these problems would disappear.
To be honest, Fog lights are rarely required. Most drivers put them on because it makes their car look better or so they think. Even rear fog lamps are rarely needed, only in proper pea soup fog which I haven't seen for years.
I wouldn't wait - let the scum get charged and convicted. He knew he was in the wrong when he checked twice never mind when he drove off.
I hope you get you bike fully restored at no loss (including insurance premium) and this scum bag gets a short ban, a good fine (not the pissy £60 type) and to take an extended driving test
