I was accelerating from traffic lights and had almost passed this van, when the driver accelerated to prevent me from completing my overtaking manoeuvre. The road merges into one lane, with thr usual herringbone markings. I decided - wrongly I admit (in a technical sense) to venture there hoping the driver would give way. In the end I was obliged to decelerate in the interests of road safety.
I would have thought, given my advance position on the highway, that a 'normal' motorist would have allowed me to continue passing.
Instead, I was put in a extremely precarious position, and a serious accident could have resulted.
Therefore, although I wasn't entirely without fault, I consider the actions of the driver of said vehicle to be dangerous driving.

WARNING! This woman uses her mobile phone while driving!
Driving through the town centre, holding up traffic behind her because she was using her mobile phone in her lap! Constantly looking up and down into her lap. When she was looking down the traffic in-front of her would move but she didn't, she'd close the gap and do it again.
