Monday 31 July 2017 at 1525-1530, when heading from Brighton Marina towards Brighton Pier. I was in the fast lane and a large taxi overtook me wildly into the oncoming lane.
He swerved back into my lane after missing oncoming traffic and drove at horrendous speeds easily exceeding 50 mph.
He approached red lights as if he was ready to run through them and stopped well past the line.
Before the lights turned amber he was already pulling away and despite the traffic he still was not getting far.
After swerving through traffic in both the slow and the fast lane he drove very aggressively and bullied his way through before taking the 1st exit at the roundabout outside Brighton Pier into Madeira Drive.
You did not have to stay until he moved over. The highway code states that you MUST move into the lane on the left once you have finished overtaking. So you should have been in lane 1 whatever he was doing. If you were both travelling at the speed limit you would not have done a nearside overtake anyway. The highway code also says don't let other drivers affect your own driving. Do what you have to do and leave them be.
This car drove in a closed lane on the M25, undertaking many vehicles and completely ignoring the flashing red X's on 3 gantries before cutting back in just before the accident that the lane was closed for. I see this all the time, and there's radio ads telling you not to drive in closed lanes, yet the police seem to do nothing to stop it! ...Thank goodness for Rate Driver!
One of Debdens many local drug dealers. Not very good at hiding it though
