Polite reminder to check blind spots. This was the closest I've ever felt to colliding with someone, not really sure how we did miss each other.
He pulled into my lane while I was overtaking and he made no indication other than invading my personal space. Not much separating us from the 60mph oncoming traffic, so for him to come within inches of me made me a little fearful he or I may not see another day.
I didn't see any attempt on his part to avoid anyone/anything. His wheels stayed on his planned course and his speed didn't change, so not sure if he was completely oblivious to my presence even despite my horn beeping.
I understand this could have been a lapse in judgement or loss of concentration but on this road there isn't much space for that. His driving seemed normal before and after the near miss so I'm guessing he just didn't look in his mirrors.
Total bellend. Tailgated me when Iād left a roundabout in the right hand lane of a dual carriageway, whilst gesturing wildly with his right hand off the wheel for me to move over. Firstly I was not in the wrong as in the left hand lane where two trucks.
He then continued gesturing and tailgating until he suddenly swerved into left hand lane, pulled back to right, slammed his brakes on causing me to stop. He got out ranting and raving with no concern for other traffic or safety, I locked my doors, reversed a little and drove on. He continued to follow me by using wrong lane on a right turn roundabout. I was near Suffolk police HQ so I drive in to get assistance, he parked in middle of road and again got out to rage at me. Total plonker, reg number, complaint and photo of him now with police. Sorry to say typical BMW a driver.
Very aggressive road user. Would appear to not understand merge in tern.
