I was riding a motorbike into work and like every other day, there was an absolutely massive queue of traffic in a single lane. I wonder what is causing it?
Eventually, I get to the front of the queue to see that it's one of these LYCRA PRICKS holding everybody up!!! Every single day these road terrorists infest our roads and make everyone have to drive on the engine's idle.
Then an entire minute later, there's another!
Then you get to the red lights, the prick catches up, and goes right through them!!!
Well, I suppose if you have no insurance or number plate, who is going to stop you?
I think it's a good idea to post registrations, as in looking at it from a driver feedback perspective - it's an excellent means of raising awareness. Legally post every applicable reg you can find :) I also note there's been some serious allegations over the years over driver behaviour at these hunts, along with some quite disturbing footage. In some cases the people filming appear to have been chased, driven at, ran off the road, threatened in other ways, and physically assaulted.
Still, isn't it a good job we have social media.. :)
Whilst we were peacefully protesting at the Atherstone Hunt’s “pleasure” ride in Maxstoke one of their supporters drove at us in his 4x4 accelerating as he got closer trying to run one of our group over with his vehicle. Luckily we managed to move out of the way but a small misstep could have had serious consequences.
In the aftermath of the Atherstone Hunt’s failed attempt to send an innocent person to prison and take out a restraining order on a member of our group, the realisation may be dawning on some members of the Atherstone Hunt that not only will their hunt never be believed in court again but also that that they are now stuck with us. It seems some members of the hunt are now taking their frustrations out by trying to run us down with their cars
We blame Leicestershire Police for this latest incident, not only does their repeated targeting of members of our group legitimise us as targets for the hunt, but their failure to take any kind of action against a number of serious assaults now means the Atherstone Hunt believe that they can get away with anything. Earlier in the year Leicestershire Police took no further action against Ashley Davies who drove into us with his quad bike. The lack of action over that case means the Atherstone have taken things to the next logical level - driving at us with their 4x4s.'
