Hmmm... I wonder if "dad" has read any of these comments - seems to have gone quiet?

Yet another double yellow liner creating traffic queues and mayhem at peak morning times into the southern Cambridge villages - selfish and needless as there is a perfectly good car park a short walk around the corner - lazy and inconsiderate!

Seriously, buy the boy a bike that is the correct size for him, it may help him not wobble all over the road.
You can afford a camera but not safety equipment for your son?

I see the anti HGV muppets and little willie keyboard warriors are bored today.
It's pointless explaining fact as they cannot comprehend but still I hope the police will have a word in LA11 AWY's empty skull and explain where they failed to drive in a responsible manner.

onlyme: "You were cycling side by side on a few occasions which although allowed is blatantly abusing other road users" How was it? Where I live the police cycle that way a lot.. are they abusing people? "Furthermore where is your son's helmet and safety clothing and lights." Where are yours? That's right: they aren't mandatory unless you want to instigate ad hominem attacks? "Yes the car overtook another car and you and your son but had you respected other road users you might not have created this." Logical fallacy. "Blame only yourself for being the worst parent and irresponsible cyclist so far this year...at least you won that." Again, a logical fallacy. This all leads me to ask: what the hell is your point? Are you actually trying to be constructive?????

Kid was all over the place, not concentrating on the road, chatting incessantly. Not wearing a helmet (not illegal but, given his cycling ability, strongly advised.) Father appeared to be just as erratic as his child, weaving, often at the side of his squirrelling offspring. I imagine any attempt at indicating intention to turn right was masked by erratic cycling and a nightmare for any driver following. Having said all that, the overtaking was clearly very poor driving.

You were in one lane. The car passed you in a completely different lane. No where near you. If he was trying to kill you as the title says, he is about as competent an assassin as Mr. Bean on drugs. Yes we know you couldn't wait to catch someone doing something outrageous on your shiny new helmet cam. You need to wait a bit longer.

Shouldn't be on the road. Got annoyed when I over took him as my way was clear and his was blocked. Started to switch lanes and deliberately trying to cut me up. Pulling up to lights he slammed on his breaks so I would hit him, which I didn't as I was aware of his erradicate driving. I mimed to him in his mirror saying I had a baby in the car to which he silently replied so what I don't care. What a nice man. Reported to police.
