Why create such a fuss - the way was clear for them to just shoot through and turn right before you got in their way. Complain to the council about the ridiculous traffic queues.

This is 50/50. Fundamentally it's a lack of defensive driving from both the dashcam car and the overtaking car.

The Fiesta driver was being opportunistic by being last in a train of cars passing the Mondeo - they should have waited to make sure the lane was clear before pulling out for the overtake, and if they couldn't see the dashcam car approaching, they've made a move which has forced another road user to alter speed or direction to avoid a crash.

HOWEVER - the dashcam driver could clearly see several cars overtaking, including the Fiesta, from a long way away. The Fiesta has begun the overtake by assuming road position well in advance, visible as soon as the Kia had passed the dashcam car.

Speeds were low and visibility was generally good. Despite this, the dashcam car made no attempt to slow down until after the junction on the left, which at that point was quite close to the Fiesta. It's as if the dashcam driver is trying to make the point to the passing Fiesta that they shouldn't have begun the overtake, by deliberately closing the gap.

This could have been avoided if the dashcam driver had eased off earlier and braked sooner, anticipating another car overtaking behind the Kia.

You should never assume other cars will drive defensively, even if it's 'your priority'. In this case, you could argue that the passing Fiesta technically has priority as they've reached the static hazard first. However, there is a car approaching (dashcam car) - and their side of the road is clear. You could therefore argue that the Fiesta would reasonably be expected to stop and wait for the approaching car to pass.

Were these two to have crashed and an insurance claim then made, the dashcam driver's insurer would have probably declared this as shared fault, because braking sooner to allow the Fiesta to complete the pass would have avoided a crash.

Good driver horrible music taste.

I was stuck next to this driver at the traffic lights before the Sainsburys in Farnborough. As I wound my windows down to let some cool air in as my car was overheating (my AC broke last week, should be getting repaired on Saturda) all i could hear was bass heavy dubstep mix of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Hey I just met you".

As I looked over the driver quickly whipped his head to face to face me head on, we stared one another in the eye for the rest of the song and are now engaged.

Love you boo x

I saw this boy at the Tesco Roundabout at the Meadows, I stared into his soul as he exited the roundabout without a single indication.

I now devote my free time to haunting this boy.

People these days just have no patience, and they expect you to get out of your way all the time.

The driver of the black car should have waited - he didn't - get over it as sadly there are a lot of these types of clowns in life.

Impatient driver. Queuing left hand lane traffic on the A30 due to a broken down car. Driver decided he would blast down the right hand lane. Cutting in front of me, if I hasn’t have stopped he would have driven in to me. Hopefully you see this comment some day!
