Yeah the drivers activated his blinker only while making the turn, but it's a really dumb move to be overtaking a car like that. A cyclist would be really mad if a car would overtake him like that, so why do the same with your bike?

Cyclist should have held back. They were too close. Filtering across junctions is risky - even if the driver was at fault.
