First of all, on our trip to the Yorkshire Dales via Caton and Hornby there were many vehicles parked near the Crook O’ Lune on the A683 at the junction with Low Road, some parking irresponsibly too close to the junction and one parked over the junction on both roads.
Further along, a white SUBARU XV I SE PREMIUM SYM AWD C 2019 hat back was speeding through Hornby and tailgated us for several miles rather close to our backside. We caught up with a camper van which was almost at the speed limit but NX19OXV was too impatient and overtook the two of us just before a bend into oncoming traffic - if the approaching vehicle had been a few seconds nearer then NX19OXV wouldn’t have had anywhere to go to avoid a collision.
Motorists who drive aggressively and are antisocial to other road users reflect the attitudes of individuals within society who think they are a cut above the law, are opportunist wrongdoers, don’t care about the negative consequences of their actions and expect others to go without for their gains.
This driver’s profile fits this type of mentality, and if there was ever any conflict with another person or driver it would be the other one’s fault for not doing what he wants. Narcissistic and morally perverted describes him - there are too many of these within society who deserve a taste of their own evil.
