To all complaining about dashcam driver being in wrong lane - no! Rule 186 of the Highway Code says:
Unless signs or lane indications say otherwise,
When taking the first exit: signal left and stay in left lane.
When taking the last exit: signal right, start in right lane, merge left and signal left after the penultimate exit then take your exit.
For 'straight on' or any intermediate exit: use the APPROPRIATE lane. Do not signal on approach, only when exiting and before changing lane (if required).
In the video, the left lane is therefore the correct one. It's a double lane approach, double lane roundabout and double lane exit.
The Volvo driver is in the wrong here, he probably believes the old adage that it should only be the left lane for first exit or straight ahead. He needs to do some revision of the Highway Code.
The left lane is also appropriate given the dashcam vehicle appears to be an HGV, and if it's an articulated trailer its larger turn radius means the outer lane is best for the safety of the HGV and passing vehicles.
To the dashcam driver, it does look like you ended up quite close to him, probably because he coasted to a slower speed deliberately after the roundabout or not. The Volvo driver needs his head checking, but you could have also eased off slightly to gap him, annoying as it may have been.
