That means they pay a disproportionate amount since CARS do most of the damage, bikes virtually none. Double whammy! And the knock-out blow: Legally, cyclists are there by RIGHT whereas you are there by privilege. You do NOT pay directly for roads sunshine, nobody does. And if you think your blind hatred for cyclists gives you the right to invent your own rules (which apparently includes premeditated murder?), then seriously.. GTFO or drive yourself into an asylum. Older 'gentleman' in a bright orange Renault who certainly is no gentleman. Tailgating in a 30mph zone, where I was doing the speed limit in the right hand lane, as I was soon to be turning right. Then he undertook making an obscene gesture, which incidentally is anatomically incorrect when directed towards me, and this said more about him, as he looked well practised. He then had to brake because of a car in front, dropped behind, then caught up again as I was making my right turn and beeped his horn aggressively. What a charming man.
