Driving behind this car as they threw several items out of the car including a bag of rubbish at a roundabout in Ashbourne. Followed them up the bypass and took a photo of the reg. Caught up with them at the top of the hill and then they followed me back in to town taking photos of us! Cheeky b*ggers! Had pink lettering on back window for a dog grooming business but can't make it out in the photo. I just don't understand why people have no respect for the environment or themselves. Get back in the sea!
Look like she made a mistake mate. She then panicked and tried to correct her error. That's how it looks to me. I ride a bike as well..had no end of intentional pull-outs, but as mentioned I think this was an error.
Also, 23 mph (or more through) a narrow town road? Is that wise mate? I am not denying there is no speed limit for cycles; however there is a very high risk things like this will happen especially when cars are parked on blind corners. You often have a much better view than drivers and what looks deliberate to you might be an honest mistake. You should also be able to slow down better than this? Scan the horizon and be prepared to stop as quickly and safely as you can..if someone pulls out do your best to increase the gap, not ride up their arse.
I am not blaming you. I am not trying to have a go at your just because you are on a bike. Just saying stay safe man things like this happen on our busy, crowded little isle.
