I don't really see the problem. He is in front of you so you can just slot back in behind him. Perhaps you shouldn't have left it so late in attempt to merge? You're the one who is changing lanes so the cars in the other lane have priority.

YE65 VBB tried to force his way in front of a bus full of senior citizens and children and when he could not get in front drove up to the back of the bus dangerously close. Disgusting driving. This guy is going to kill someone one day.
