03/08/23 Red Ford Kuga.
60 year old bald male spotted in Wilmslow. Pinned to my rear bumper whilst I was doing 30mph in a 30 mph zone. He was gesturing at me with one hand and eating a sausage with other, he sounded horn as I approached a roundabout. I got out to check everything was OK with him and to notify him of the speed limit and he chucked the fish and chip shop wrapper out the window, I told him it was littering and to pick it up, he just stared at me slowly chewing what remained of the sausage whilst maintaining eye contact with me. It was like a scene from the godfather but instead of a cigar it was the end of a sausage protruding from his lips. I walked over to pick up the discarded fish and chip shop wrapper and as I passed it him he sped off catching my hand on his wing mirror.
Must have been in a rush to get home to the missus after that sly detour to chippy. On reflection feel a bit bad lecturing him about UK law, it might not apply to him and he never said a word back so he may not have understood what I was saying. Anyway I took the rubbish home with me because littering is disgusting behaviour and really says a lot about a person. Does anyone know what colour bin it goes in for Cheshire East Council, it’s sort of not paper and not plastic. Think l’ll put it in the dark grey mixed waste one.
