Rude, arrogant and disrespectful to a mother of a disabled child. Entered a disabled space from the wrong side, ahead of the woman who had been waiting for 15 minutes for it. Ruined her and her child's entire evening as they missed their movie because of this.
Why not report it to the police? I think is an offence to drive away from an accident and I'm sure they'd chase it up. Also if you reported it to insurance they can make a claim against them too.
I see this too. The driver does not deserve to have a licence. He is local and I have witnessed him doing exactly the same in his lil boy racer car that looks like it should never be fit to be on the roads.
The driver was in the wrong.he didnt judge the speed of the cyclist correctly.
I bet he thought he wouldnt be as close as he was.
im a cyclist and a motorist(30 years).ive had this situation myself and the motorist didn't know how fast i was going.
we all make mistakes as cyclist and motorist so best just to be honest and appologise!
"There being no third lane for him to overtake"
So there was a left hand lane for you to pull into to let him pass? you just chose to be a nuisance and a hindrance for half hour, if he wants to speed off who are you to stop him? Stop being a little vigilante and keep to the left.
