I dont normally leave reviews about this sort of stuff but in this case i felt i had to, what a good driver, courteous, competant and friendly, well done you
In these situations I always try to stay either in front of or behind vehicles. Anything else.. don't move until a) the vehicle has moved or fully acknowledged your presence, b) called you on, and c) It is actually safe to proceed. When I do this I get hassle from other cyclist who think it's OK to ride alongside cars, including being in the driver's blind spot. Well to that I say to myself, "fuck off". The way I see it we are here to help each other out, and everyone will at some time make a mistake. With this particular video I can't decide whether or not it was accidental..I'm leaning towards deliberate on the basis the driver would have at least been able to see the cyclist in their mirror. But therein lies the problem for many of you see: I'm making an assumption. Never fully assume people actually know what they are doing..always be prepared to take evasive action. This is just my opinion and I am not trying to lecture others. Have a good day folks.
Sure, everyone parks on the muddy verge. But this BMW driver decides he'd rather park blocking the pavement to avoid getting his pride and joy mucky! Self centred and pig ignorant!
