A car from my right stopped to let me cross the crossing and as I started crossing with nothing to my immediate left this vehicle (F18SLC) was approaching but kept going over the crossing in front of me when he or she should have waited for me to finish crossing.

Lorry charges out onto roundabout from Mill Farm into oncoming traffic as if its brakes failed or the road was empty. Was this a failure of braking or a typical power in the hands of an obsessed driver abusing it to push other vehicles out of his way?
I have witnessed several lorries and vans having done this today so is there a “Crash for Cash” tactic going on?
