Did the taxi driver over-take the cyclist before turning left? I'm asking because some cyclist's don't understand things like a driver's blind spot. Not that this is automatically the case here, I'm just trying to establish the facts. It's dangerous these days to be on a bike, including the dangers created by a minority of prick cyclists. I ride a bike myself and I do think there should be a test - yes, we are there by right, but some people think that is a right to show no regards for safety or courtesy. Drifting off on a tangent there (sorry).. hope it works out.

This is an example of one of the reasons there are more incompetent drivers on the roads. Some instructors set a poor example to their students, or fail to correct their students mistakes.
