It doesnt need an engine service, its had the work done, but only an official mercedes workshop can reset the computer. And they charge an arm and a leg.

Maybe the police can keep an eye out for them. Sick of ass-holes prowling the streets thinking they can start trouble and rob people etc. I wouldn't be surprised if that was their motive..
