Two brainless things this young driver has done, but is probably totally oblivious to the fact:
On the first occasion, he drove straight past traffic calming on the wrong side of the road, and then sounded the horn at oncoming traffic that was understandably surprised that he was hurtling towards them on THEIR side. He was ignoring the "Give Way to Oncoming Traffic" sign, the "Give Way" marker on the road, as well as the oncoming traffic he was about to have a head-on collision with. Duh.
The second time it *was* his priority, yet he mindlessly hooted the horn at traffic that had completely stopped for him. Why? It wasn't a short sound, it was aggressive. Was he trying to annoy people because he knows his driving skill is horrendous?
Utterly absurd behaviour, and he needs to look up what the horn actually is for. Next time ask yourself: is it worth having other people complain about you? Is it worth acting aggressively towards your fellow roaduser? No it isn't.

blatant throwing of rubbish into the square by Taylor Made Drives and Patios
- mum (5th Feb 2016 21:02:53)
I drove through the square today at about 4.50pm behind a pick up truck with 'Taylor Made Drives and Patio's Ltd' written on it.
The driver stopped halfway through the village - in the middle of the road - to have a chat with another driver on the opposite side of the road, and then drove fast, flinging bananas out of the windows on BOTH sides of his truck.
Not pleasant behaviour, littering the street and a poor example of behaviour for others. Whoever is responsible for this company should be ashamed of the image they are portraying locally. Shame on you TAYLOR MADE DRIVES AND PATIOS LTD ...... litterbugs.

They are the travellers on devils lane, looking at their site I doubt they have much concern for littering the square......

According to company records it was established on 8 Jun 2015 and is wholly owned by a Mr Dennis Thomas Coffey who unusually does not have a personal address on the registration of his directorship. The registered address of 5 Charter House, Portsmouth, PO12SB is actually the premises of Mail Boxes Etc.

The application for the site at Devils Lane was for six families, one of those families was listed as Dennis & Anita Coffey. Coincident?

Who cares whether they are travellers?
I detect prejudice here
Much more concerned about the blatant litter - not I but personally I'm not impressed by the nudge nudge wink wink point being made

This pick-up was also travelling along The Avenue (over the speed humps) in excess of 50 mph during school hours last week.

Impressive or not, prejudice or not: The fact is that repeatedly an un-proportional incidence of antisocial behaviour (e.g. theft, bullying, littering, dangerous driving, conning...) is convincingly linked to that small minority.

Now the company owner is aware of our concerns, I am sure he will address them
For the 50mph charge, how was the speed registered, as even trained police officers are notoriously bad at estimating speed when they are stood still, hence why they use speed measuring devices?
If you actually meant to say it looked like the driver was going a bit fast, that is opinion, but I am sure the company owner will also address this as well, now he is aware.
I think we would all do better if we learned to distinguish fact from opinion before we start burning people at the stake.
Perhaps not as entertaining, but it will make this forum more pleasant to read!

This van nearly hit my car today as the driver was too impatient to wait for me to reverse into my drive, he skidded off, swerving down the road like an idiot.
Highways Agency hit vehicle then drove off!
