This driver thinks cyclists ought to ride in the gutter. Unfortunately those who do get knocked off by vehicles.
Roadcraft states you ride in the 'secondary-position' that's one metre from the kerb!
Funny how these raging commentators fail to see the oncoming traffic, as well as fail to see the obvious lack of requisite passing distance (at least as much room as a car and regardless of the whether rider is in primary or secondary position). The cyclist was warning the driver of these things - not having a go at them for the sake of it, not trying to "hold up traffic". The cyclist has a right to be on the road and the right to use the full lane where deemed appropriate and it is the driver's responsibility to over-take safely. If you don't understand this and don't respect other road users enough to treat the cyclist as an equal then the problem is YOU, not cyclists, not imaginary "Road" Tax, not your assumed entitlement to something you don't have over other people. YOU.
