This lorry hit my car at the weekend and drove away. His insurance are now claiming it wasn’t even on the road. The police are now having to deal with it.

She had to park here to unload her shopping rather than walk about 20 paces up from a sensible parking spot on the road.
This is a designated footpath (blocked at one end) and not your personal parking space because you're too lazy to walk a bit further.

Drove at least a mile doing 20mph in a 40 zone while repeatedly looking down at his phone, holding up a big queue of traffic behind him.

Very dangerous, driving with phone in hand. Moves into over taking lane and applies brakes to just stop people overtaking. If you dare overtake, he will drive behind you with high beams on. Sadly, he will end up killing someone with such behaviour.
