The hard-shell saddle container was not made of leather. The biker re-adjusted it when level with my bonnet, after trying to squeeze through a gap that was too small, between me and a lorry. He could clearly not take a look at what damage he might or might not have caused. His rear hit my boot. If he had to re-adjust it after a collision then it miles more different from a handbag.
Thugs come in all shapes and sizes. He had no knowledge of what damage he might or might not have caused but instead drove away. It's therefore easy to make the assumption that you condone this behaviour by the apology you are making for someone you don't know and you were not at the scene.
