Blind OAP shouldn't be on the road. Pulled straight out into my path in a 40 zone. Another dangerous t*** who's no doubt been lying on their self-assessment form year after year.
I don't know what this idiot thought he was doing. I was traveling at the speed limit, overtaking other vehicles. He overtook me but then cut in front of me. I flashed him and pulled out into the outside lane to regain my braking distance but he followed me out braking at the same time. I had to brake hard to avoid going in his back end. Idiot!
Just after midnight, in the very early hours of March 18th 2017 I asked the driver of this car to drive the 9 or so miles from Hertford North station to my home in EN6. He quoted £30, which I believed to be excessive but agreed. I only had £20 so asked him to go via a cashpoint. He pointed out that there was a cashpoint machine at the station, so asked me to get out the remaining £10 there and then; which I did. I then got into the car and he demanded the money up front. I showed him the money, as a show of faith, and said that I would pay him on arrival. He said that I must pay him now, before driving an inch. I was down to my last few pounds and felt very nervous about doing this, so I refused. I showed him the money again, declaring that I would pay him but there was no way that I was going to pay for a service he hadn't carried out. In my experience, that's not how these things work. You could argue that drivers have to face the possibility of passengers not paying; but what about us? We could be robbed. I don't feel entirely safe handing over £30 when the driver could just take the money and throw me out of his cab.
He demanded that I get out. I questioned the legality of this and he got very angry. I started walking, hoping to flag down a more reasonable driver. After risking my life walking on dark roads for three hours and nine miles, I arrived home. It was after 3am.
Would prefer to stay in lane 1 on a round-about, intentionally trying to force a cyclist out of his way than use an empty lane 2 which goes the same way.
This drive has no road manners towards cyclists and could be regarded as a dangerous driver.
Whilst out riding my horse this guy came past and slowed down so I looked at him and was about to thank him when he gave me the middle finger
