Genuinely don't understand how people are so bad at parking that simply driving forwards into a space on the street requires them to mount the kerb and then drop back off it as some kind of guide to when they're by the edge of the pavement.
They're not even parking on the pavement (which is something I suppose) - just using it as some kind of feedback loop instead of using their eyes.
Perhaps they like the thrill of risking buggering up their tyres.

Abbot 7:35 pm (Fri 22nd) this driver was in something of a rush over Greyhound Bridge in the Carnforth lane then cutting over for Morecambe.
He had to slow down because of traffic ahead but at Scale Hall Lane traffic lights he didn’t wait to turn right but barged between vehicles and sped off up Scale Hall Lane.
As I passed I saw his vehicle parked rather poorly and he was waiting by the front door of number 45.
