Cam car had just completed overtake of slower vehicle in lane one (so not "sitting in lane two"), and moved from lane two to lane three allowing a 4 second gap between self and the vehicle being approached in lane two. RR was in lane 3 approx 300 metres behind & closing slowly when cam car moved from lane two to lane three. RR then accelerated to high speed, undertook and the rest is history. Don't be too quick to judge until you know all the facts, it’s not the mark of an intelligent person.
This absolute bellend was tailgating and weaving around behind me. The same day (!), I encounter him nearly pulling into another driver, then doing the same to me.
Obviously he took offence to me honking at him and decided to follow/chase me threatening and trying to get me to pull over for a couple of miles.
Eventually he caught up, and started to do the whole "I'll pretend to half get out of my car" thing to try and scare me (I guess?), then drove off once I told him he should wait at junctions (wtf was the point in all that? Can only assume you have no life and nothing better to do with your time).
I'll upload footage once it has been dealt with by the police.
I can only assume you got your license very recently (or you are a takeaway driver), so would advice driving with a bit more care.
Aggressive driving by the camera car; there is a worn merge arrow that the camera car takes as a cue to straddle both lanes. It’s clear the camera car was determined to stop the other vehicle from passing and didn’t give the other drive a chance to merge, it’s also worth considering that this might be the first time the other driver had been down this road and did not know merging was required, he may not have spotted the badly worn merge arrow as it was obscured by the Volvo until a few seconds before the camera car tried to cut him off.
although we can't condone the RR's driving, OP's vehicle seems to be in lane 2 unnecessarily to begin with and moves into lane 3 very early to make his overtake.
we can't see where the RR was in relation to you when you made the move from lane 2 to lane 3 but perhaps your own driving needs to be assessed here too.
I'm guessing one of the comments below this is our regular troll (no need to point to it ;) )
