If being overtaken maintain steady speed, slowing if necessary to let the vehicle pass. That means not speeding up to block the manoeuvre. Also, when an amber light shows it means STOP, not wave your arms frantically at the driver in front.
Unfortunately, the driving experience was far from smooth. There were frequent mistakes, with the driver often reacting with an ‘oops’ to every error. There was a lack of awareness and control, leading to abrupt braking, erratic lane changes, and some near-misses. More focus on the road and adjusting driving habits could make a significant difference. Not the safest or most comfortable ride
This dangerous driver was moving at 44mph towards this mini-roundabout. Each white line is 4 meters long with a 2 meter gap. She travelled 10 meters in 15 frames of 30fps video. This gives a speed of 20 meters per second or 44.7mph in a 30 limit. They came within a few inches of a collision with the Mercedes and probably would not have been able to give way on the roundabout.
