Hmm, mixed feelings about this one. I agree about the initial over-taking as well as that utter shite over-take at 3:42, the latter of which appeared a deliberate attempt at using their vehicle as a weapon. However I think the cyclist did themself no favors by being verbally aggressive. You've got to take the moral high ground, even if it seems counter intuitive. A firm but fair approach from the start is required if you have any hope of suitable redress. Pre-empting insutls is to argue with a fool; you'll only come down to their level and that is exactly what they want. Furthermore on a bike you'll also risk being knocked off or assaulted. If it ever goes to court you'll want all the ammunition you've got but by reeling off insults you're practically giving that ammunition away. I hope the rider (and all road users) can see where I'm coming from. What the van driver did would piss me off but experience has told me that going in with guns blazing almost always has only one outcome: war. Only wage or if you have no other choice.

Just to point out, there's an entity on You Tube by the name of 'sean sean' who seems to take great pleasure trolling cycling videos. There is no shortage of legitimate YT users getting pissed off with their "input", shall we say. Basically they try to find any avenue to have a go, and its clear from their text that deep down inside the problem isn't cyclists it's them, and their personal hatred/vendetta whatever you want to call it. I suggest be on your guard. Please note: I am not out to deny criticism or free speach, but I'm sick to the fucking back teeth of these trolls trying to ruin things for everyone else. Sean Sean.. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find you loitering here, either in your primary role or that of one of many, many sock puppets. I basically think you need to get a life and focus on your OWN problems with this world before you start to lecture others.
