This young 1 Series single-occupant driver pulled a ridiculous, illegal overtake, accelerating way beyond the speed limit (to around 80 mph) in a 40 mph merge-in-turn, requiring evasive steering from myself to avoid collision. I reach 40 mph in around 4 seconds, so felt sorry for the prolonged roar of its abused engine.
