Cyclist was at fault here. He doesn't pay any road tax and isn't insured. Cyclist should pass a test and get some road tax before using our roads. Until then, I'll keep ramming them off the road and knocking them off
The point about being opposite a police station was the increased possibility (still slim admittedly) of actually being seen and stopped by a police officer !
I don't understand the significance of being near a police station. It would suggest you think it is acceptable to be on your phone when you are not near a police station .
Double white lines where the line nearest you is solid. This means you MUST NOT cross or straddle it unless it is safe and you need to enter adjoining premises or a side road.
