The lane the gentleman has parked in is not private. The police and council have confirmed this. What is illegal is puncturing people’s tyres, that is a perpetual nuisance. The driver in question is actually a top bloke ! The residents however that think they own a piece of public land and have caused several instances of criminal damage not so.
