SH16 KYXPrivate hire Chris Stewart (maybe) 2018-07-29 20:41:19
Around a month ago i was unlucky to encounter when parked, a private taxi swooping into a space behind me and bumping my car. As i got out he tried moving his car and claiming "what? what is it? what?" when i said he hit my car he said "did i? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit you. I didn't hit you.". There was minimal damage to my car but damage all the same. I asked him to come out his taxi to see just what he'd done. He bounded out like an excitable lap dog looking rather wandered and then again denied hitting my car yet saying he didn't mean it and apologising. When i moved he shadowed me. I went to my car to get a pen.. He was there! I went to the boot to get something to write on.... He was there! When i went to lean on a wall.... Yup he was there! I didn't find him intimidating just unnerving that this man was driving for a living. I asked for his name and what felt like an eternity he said "Chris Stewart" (I'm unsure if that was his real name) i was interested in how he would spell his name and asked him. I was greeted with a blank stare with no answer which felt like an eternity.
As he walked away he said "i don't care it's not my car" i asked him if i was lying about him hitting me he said "no" and then slurred "i didn't hit you"
As i said earlier i was concerned that this man was driving members of the public and genuinely wasn't sure if he took a bad reaction to medication or something. So i contacted NETWORK PRIVATE HIRE to tell them what had happened and to say i wasn't claiming for the damage as it was minimal but to let my concerns be known. The girl who answered could not have been nicer and couldn't apologise enough and that her supervisor was on holiday but will contact me in a couple of days to resolve the matter.
Four weeks later still no contact!
If anyone in the Glasgow area calls NETWORK PRIVATE HIRE for a taxi and Chris Stewart appears, then i pray for you to arrive at your destination safely as i wouldn't trust the man to run a bath never mind run customers from A to B!
Pulled into the Londis petrol station, parked in the disabled bay even though normal bays were empty then proceeded to fly tip rubbish out into the Londis bins.
Beyond awful. Uninsured for part of the year and was involved in accident. Went into back of car at airport. Worst part is - its from a travel company. avoid avoid avoid
Very rude driver, swearing and shouting at younger people. No respect from such a grown up man. Too big headed to acknowledge his own fault and simply say sorry.
