The camera car was approaching the white van in the center lane, and would've overtaken it. What that Skoda driver did, speeding, overtaking from the wrong side, not leaving enough gap to the car behind, brake checking, was dangerous and illegal.
There was plenty HGV's ahead and the camera car was certainly making good progress, the blue Skoda thinks everybody else should stick to the rules so he/she can break them, perhaps they had an appointment with their psychiatrist.
Update on my previous comment. Police have responded and said they have received other reports and are investigating. They wanted to know whether I would be willing to go to court as a witness, I said yes. If anyone has any pictures or video of this incident take it to the police asap. This person needs to be stopped.
This driver is a liability! I was passing a school this morning and he was sitting about three cars behind me when he obviously became impatient and overtook the line of cars around the wrong side of a traffic island, he had to come to a screaming stop as children were crossing the road on the crossing just after the island. He literally came to within a foot of running children over. It was shocking. I have reported him to the police and they said they will look into it but I'm not hopeful. This man is dangerous!
If you are so sure that you are not lane hogging post up the footage BEFORE the incident.
I will be the first to apologise if thi sproves me wrong ...... but I doubt it.
