Followed this car down the M6 toll road after she cut me up drifting into Lane 1 as she overtook me at about 85 slowing doemwn to about 70. Having braked to avoid a collision I went past to see her looking down at her phone obviously texting. I ewes my horn and put my hazards on to show my ire and then she leap flogged me for the entire toll road still deep in text conversation and obliviouslubed drifting into lanes 1 &3 as she speeded up and then slowed down to text. Amazingly she carried on for the full length of the toll and into the log jam at the M42 jct. What could have been so important?
Should be banned.

Zebra crossings are a nightmare. Unless you are actually on the crossing then both cars don't have to stop even if the other car has. Yet despite this you will fail a driving test if you don't stop while someone is waiting. It's just bloody stupid. I've had the same happen to me loads of times mate, all they do is claim they had someone behind them blah blah when it's clear they have NO intention of stopping, for anyone.
OK here's what to do. At least one car will usually stop, but when it does, just put one foot on the zebra. Then, by law, the other driver MUST stop. If they don't, they are braking the law but at least it's only your foot that's on the crossing and not your whole person. Hope this helps.
