Sorry OP, you should have yielded behind the Red Mini as he had priority at this point. He had started to come down at the point you passed the transit before the gap.
We were following him into Long Eaton at about the 18:45 and he decides to stop and drop off his friend at the shop. He decided he would wait too, blocking several cars and we couldn't pass for about a minute as traffic was busy coming the other way. It annoys me when people think just because they have their indicator/hazard lights on they can stop on double yellow lines and everyone around them doesn't matter.
