Sounds like a phone call to the police was needed? Damn shame you couldn't get it on camera..that type of person really doesn't like a lens pointing at them, it seems (not that there's fuck all they can do about it in a public place). I hate people who try to bully innocent commuters off the road, they need filming so our streets can be safer. Oh, and this threatening people who tell you to put your phone down? Look how brazen they are.. and good reactions by that copper, when they get out. Ass-hole driver should be jailed for 10 years and then deported, or deported and NEVER allowed back in. I would not even communicate with them beyond saying "you might want to check your reg on (insert website of choice). Entering into a conversation just gives them potential ammunition and behind the wheel of a car a deflated ego can be a very dangerous thing indeed..even more dangerous than what they allegedly did here. Hopefully they'll see this and brush up on the skills they SHOULD know when they passed their test (assuming they did). Namely, cyclists are fully entitled to safely use the full width of the lane; that you should not use your horn in an aggressive manner; that you should not try to intimidate vulnerable road users or any other road user for that matter, out of your way. Then there's the section about stopping outside of the ASL, with very few exceptions. If they can't share the road with others then there's a really easy solution for them I would imagine: fuck off of it..
